Syscomax Pedals for a Good Cause

The Syscomax family is made up of people with a heart of gold and the company decided to participate, this year again, in the 48-Hour Ride from Make-A-Wish Quebec. The journey took place last weekend, on September 14, 15 and 16, allowing the foundation to raise a total of $2 015 000. All money raised will go towards fulfilling the wildest dreams of children struggling with a serious illness. This was a moving and generous gesture on behalf of the Syscomax team.

Two teams of 6 men and women, including Syscomax employees, clients, spouses and children, pedaled in this relay event over a period of 48 hours. The course was laid out on the Icar circuit and on a segment of the main apron of the Montreal-Mirabel airport. Each team had to raise a minimum of $3 600 to participate in the 48-Hour Ride and Syscomax exceeded this goal by collecting a total of $11 005 for both its teams. Every pedal stroke had a special significance; they were meant to change the life of a sick child. It was a beautiful personal achievement for all participants!

This year, Métautek, a long-time business partner, joined Syscomax and each team proudly wore their uniform, designed to match the companies' branding.

The 48-Hour Ride experience brings together a wide range of people with 269 teams, or 1 624 participants, and more than 450 volunteers required to ensure that the event unfolds smoothly. To date, Make-A-Wish Quebec has been able to raise more than 11 million! It is a beautiful organization committed to making sick kids happy!

Syscomax is proud to have been an active participant in this event and would like to thank all those who generously contributed to the cause!
