Kaeser Compresseurs Canada Inc. entrusts its expansion to Syscomax

Kaeser Kompressoren, the world-renowned German company that specializes in compressed air solutions, entered the Canadian market through its subsidiary Kaeser Compressors Canada Inc. in 1994 and has seen steady growth ever since.

To manage its growing demand, the Boisbriand-based company once again called on Syscomax to expand their existing facilities by 12,000 sq. ft., a project that also includes the addition of a mezzanine. Kaeser Compressors Canada Inc. wanted to team up with a general contractor that not only had extensive expertise in industrial construction but could also fully manage and supervise the entire project. Given that the companies’ business relationship dates back to the construction of the original building in 2001, Syscomax was the builder of choice for this project.

The expansion project will create much-needed warehouse space to accommodate Kaeser Compressors Canada Inc.’s growing inventory of equipment and parts. The new mezzanine will provide additional space to set up offices as well as a gym for employees. The building will consist of prefabricated concrete panels and feature insulated metal panels and generous fenestration as architectural accents that harmonize with the look of the current building.

Work began in October 2020 and will end by the beginning of 2021.

“We are delighted to be doing business with Syscomax, again. We collaborate on many projects with Syscomax by supplying our tailor-made, energy-efficient and reliable compressed air solutions to their project. Our business relationship has always been very positive, and it goes without saying that we wanted Syscomax to carry out our expansion!” - Harold Wagenknecht, President and General Manager, Kaeser Compressors Canada Inc.
