Foliot Immo has mandated Syscomax to design and build the extension of the building currently housing the operations of Foliot Furniture, located at the Mirabel International Aerocity.
In order to meet the growing demand for storage resulting from the explosion in online shopping, the company has planned to add two new rental spaces totalling an area of 174,000 sq. ft. for commercial storage usage. Located along Highway 50, the extension includes a clearance height of 31 feet, a maneuvering area able to accommodate the transshipping of 10 trucks and two ground doors. The building will be covered with insulated prefabricated panels ensuring efficient thermal resistance, and the roof will be a white TPO type to reduce heat islands.
As Foliot’s partner for the past two decades, Syscomax is proud to be the main contractor for this new project, slated for completion at the end of 2021.
