Following several weeks of design and planning in close collaboration with Helisis, a family-based real estate company, Syscomax is proud to announce the construction of a new high-density project – Le Solaris. The construction of this new residential tower was begun in Boisbriand in the fall of 2021.
With its nine floors, Le Solaris will be the tallest building in the Faubourg Boisbriand area. The complex will have a total floor area of over 202,500 sq. ft and will offer access to a large variety of recently developed commercial and dining offerings as well as rapid access to the local major highways. The project will be comprised of 133 rental units with 180 underground parking spaces, 30 of these will be enabled for electrical cars and an additional 19 outdoor parking spaces will also be available. The project will also have available for its clients a rooftop patio with pool and spa, a reception area and lounge adapted for co-working.
The project has many complexities linked to the proximity of adjacent buildings and the restrained environment, the main concrete slab covers 75% of the land area, therefore necessitating the use of soldier piling wall retaining technique in order to permit the maximum usage of the available land. With current supply chain difficulties, the team will need to maximise the procurement process in order to assure respect of the planned construction schedule. Formes Studio Architects is responsible for the buildings inspiration giving it a pure and contemporary look.
“We still have many challenges ahead of us for the completion of Le Solaris”, said Mr. Alain Lapointe, Construction Manager at Syscomax, “however, our excellent preparation prior to this project will assure the success of its execution.”
