On Saturday, February 2, under a cold and snowy sky, a dozen Syscomax employees donned their skates to participate in the 2019 edition of the outdoor hockey tournament “Un hiver à notre santé” to benefit the Saint-Jérôme Regional Hospital Foundation. For a second year, two Syscomax teams were formed, and together, they raised $565 that they donated to the cause in addition to their participation in the event. In a spirit of camaraderie and fun, both teams put in a good performance, but did not move on to the finals. The tournament was held on the 3 outdoor rinks of the Saint-Jérôme Polyvalente. A total of 36 teams registered, allowing the Foundation to surpass its goal and raise $34,265.28. The funds raised will be used to finance the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment for the Department of Urology.
We are proud to have put on our skates for this important cause, and we will continue our training in the name of health in preparation for the next edition!
