We’re very proud to announce that our Co-President and General Manager, Mélissa Robitaille, was reappointed as President of the Board of Directors of the Corporation des entrepreneurs généraux du Québec (CEGQ) on January 27, 2010, at the association's 25th Annual Meeting. Her peers, supported by 17 other Board members, renewed their confidence in Mélissa, a CEGQ member since 2016 and President of the Board since 2020. She will ensure that the CEGQ's mission to “To defend the interests of general contractors and the construction industry through its contribution to Quebec’s development, particularly in economic and sustainable terms.” This association makes sure to stay in line with the needs of all CEGQ member companies, regardless of their size.
Mélissa has a degree in Analytical Chemistry and, in 1999, joined Syscomax, the company her father, Sylvain Robitaille, founded in 1988. At Syscomax, she acquired industry experience working in various departments, including Accounting, Execution, and Sales. With her strong knowledge of the company's operations and construction, she was appointed Assistant General Manager in 2012, a position she held with distinction until 2016. Subsequently, she was appointed Co-President and General Manager. Since then, Mélissa has continued to raise the company’s profile thanks not only to her talent but also her desire to take Syscomax to the highest ranks.
A pragmatic, optimistic leader with strong family values, Melissa is always looking for new ways to support the company’s employer brand and add her personal touch to foster a vibrant and dynamic business environment.
