On April 26, after months of hard work, Syscomax's multidisciplinary team was proud to have participated in the long-awaited ground-breaking ceremony to officially mark the start of work on the new industrial building for family business La Maison Lavande. This Lower Laurentians agri-tourism and perfumery company has enjoyed great success for several years. The company needed to relocate and expand its current production centre – La Fabrique des Filles – to centralize its design and manufacturing activities and allow for a larger production area for its various products derived from lavender.
The new building will boast defined geometric lines and a country, Scandinavian look and be built in Saint-Eustache’s Innoparc Albatros. The building is scheduled to be delivered in December 2022. Designed by architect Jean-François Dupuis, winner of the 2021 International Design Award, the building will comply with the new energy-saving standards and feature impressive architecture on all its facades thanks to abundant fenestration, curtain walls, and a garden level that offers a magnificent view of the agricultural fields. This two-storey building will provide a total surface area of 62,075 ft2, bring together the company’s various departments under one roof, and include a modern 10,440 ft2production area, 12,500 ft2 of bright administrative spaces and a vast 28,000 ft2 storage area.
“Since the first meeting, our working group has become very close: Daniel, Nancie, Florence, and Marjolaine had a very clear vision of what they wanted, and we worked very hard to make their dream come true. I’m convinced that the La Maison Lavande project will be a success that will make these business partners proud. A big thank-you to them for choosing Syscomax to move forward! – Alain Champagne, Vice-President of Operations at Syscomax.
