Mission accomplished for the love of children!

Under windy and cloudy skies, but with spirits high, the two Syscomax teams took up the Make-A-Wish® Quebec 48-HOUR RIDE challenge, from September 13 to 15.

On the ICAR track and main apron of Mirabel Airport, participants took turns supporting the Make-A-Wish® Quebec Foundation’s mission, one pedal at a time. This is the third year in a row that Syscomax has taken part in the fundraising activity, and just like last year, two teams represented the company, reinforcing its commitment to the cause.

Captains Sylvain Robitaille and Mélissa Robitaille are very proud of the accomplishments of their teams, made up of Syscomax employees, spouses, children and business partners. Collectively, the teams raised $17,310, which will be used to make the wishes of sick children come true. This is a cause that is very dear to those who participated and they tip their hats to the organizers of the Make-A-Wish® Quebec 48-HOUR RIDE for a smoothly run event. Many donors gave generously, and Syscomax wishes to express their sincere gratitude: On behalf of the children, thank you!

"Thanks to the many donations from our business partners to those around us, we raised $ 6,305 more than last year ... what an achievement! It really warms our hearts!", says Mélissa Robitaille, co-president of Syscomax.

The 2019 edition of the Make-A-Wish® Quebec 48-HOUR RIDE brought together 372 teams of joyful cyclists for the weekend. In all, $2,618,000 was raised for the cause.

We look forward to next year, for another weekend full of hope!
