New chapter in the expansion of Pneus à Rabais

To support its booming growth, Pneus à Rabais is building a new warehouse strategically located in Saint-Jérôme, in the Quartier d’Innovation Industrielle (QII). This ambitious project designed and developed by Syscomax in partnership with TLA Architects began in September 2024 and will be delivered in September 2025.

The new building will boast an impressive 140,000 sq. ft. surface area, and will feature both industrial spaces, including a roughly 117,000 sq. ft. warehouse, and 8,830 sq. ft. of office space on the ground floor. Upstairs, a mezzanine and common areas will be built for long-term flexibility of use. The interior design has been carefully thought out to meet Pneus à Rabais’s specific needs while allowing for future adaptability.

The building’s façade will be a key element of the project, and will feature an elegant and vibrant black, red and grey colour scheme inspired by the world of Pneus à Rabais. Modern materials, large windows and architectural details will help streamline the overall visual effect and optimize natural light inside.

The landscaping has been designed to minimize the visual impact of the building and ensure its durability against urban climatic conditions. By retaining some of the existing vegetation and adding strategically placed plantings, the project will help reduce the heat island effect and create a pleasant environment for employees and visitors.

The work schedule has been planned around Pneus à Rabais’ critical operations, particularly the peak winter tire storage period. Building in winter conditions presents a major technical and logistical feat for Syscomax, but thanks to its recognized expertise, it can commit to delivering a quality building on time.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held on January 30 to inaugurate this new project. We would like to thank the Ville de Saint-Jérôme for its invaluable collaboration in this project. “This milestone represents much more than breaking ground. It’s a testament to Saint-Jérôme’s economic vitality and to the commitment we made in 2022 to prioritize industrial development and, in turn, strengthen our economy for the good of all our citizens,” said Martin Pigeon, spokesperson for the City’s economic development commission.

This new building marks a major turning point for Pneus à Rabais. By working with Syscomax, the company benefits from exclusive expertise in the design and construction of this modern building tailored to its future ambitions.
