Established in 1966, La Petite Bretonne is a family business that manufactures pastries, such as croissants, madeleines and chocolatines. Faced with increased demand from its various local and international customers, the second-generation-run company has, for the fifth time since 1994, called on the expertise of Syscomax to realize its latest project.
Spread over 10 months, the mandate consisted of expanding their Blainville facilities to accommodate a new production line and additional storage area.
With a surface area of 13,530 sq. ft., the expansion was designed by Syscomax’s architect, Jean-François Dupuis, to optimize the use of the existing land and maximize the building’s floor space. The residual land area was used to create enough parking spaces to meet municipal requirements as well as the client’s needs. Blending harmoniously with the existing building, this project was delivered in December 2022, to the great satisfaction of La Petite Bretonne customers.
“You can’t become a general contractor in an industry as demanding and standardized as the agri-food industry. Like a metronome, Syscomax has proven it sets the bar in our industry, project after project.” – Audrey Laurin, Vice-President, Finance and Administration
When the Syscomax team gets involved, a project is guaranteed to be a success!
