Lanthier Bakery (Alexandria)
The project, which was split in two phases in order to reduce the impact of construction work on production, covers an area of 17,881 sq ft and comprises three sections, namely a new 4,000 sq ft production area for the development of new products, a 2,000 sq ft area on two levels to expand the administrative offices and provide employees with a roof terrace and some 12,000 sq ft of shipping and warehousing space. Some thirty workers have been employed during the different phases of the project. The exterior cladding is composed of noble materials such as steel, wood and glass, as well as masonry that will allow the building to age well while taking into consideration the original building that dates back to 1932.
