Once again this year, a dozen members of our team, joined by their loved ones, walked or ran over 147 kilometres combined in the 2024 Courir à notre santé (running for our health) event. This annual initiative organized by the Fondation de l’Hôpital régional de Saint-Jérôme was aimed this year at raising funds for the purchase of a cardiac ultrasound machine.
Despite cool and rain-sprinkled weather, the charity event held at Bell Textron in Mirabel on June 9 attracted some 1,350 dedicated participants, who enjoyed a variety of courses and lively entertainment along the way. The foundation succeeded in raising more than $85,000 of its $100,000 objective. As for the Syscomax team, it was able to help achieve this goal by raising $2,375, or 95% of our target amount. We would like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the donors who supported this cause and cheered on our walkers and runners!
For Syscomax, health is a value that is constantly emphasized, and that’s why we once again took part in this event to support the hospital that serves our region.
