Syscomax teams up with Montréal Roses FC for a new phase

Syscomax is honored to contribute to the realization of a milestone in Montréal’s history through its mandate to completely refurbish the professional locker room of the Montréal Roses. The project represents a key step in the development of women’s soccer in Canada, offering athletes a real opportunity for growth both on a professional and personal level.

The new facility, located at the Complexe Multi-Sports de Laval, will serve as the athletes’ second home, providing the Roses with all the facilities they need to compete at a high level, including natural and synthetic indoor and outdoor fields. The dynamic, welcoming space will reflect the Roses’ values: encourage courage, excel with integrity, defend diversity and celebrate our community.

The first phase of the work includes the complete fit-out of this new space, designed to meet the specific needs of the Roses. In addition to changing rooms and showers, the new sanctuary, covering nearly 10,000 sq. ft., will include a kitchen with a large central island, a lounge area for relaxation and a fitness centre for training sessions. Medical and physiotherapist facilities will provide athletes with state-of-the-art healthcare while hot and cold baths will help keep players in peak condition. A media room will also be set up to promote the Montréal Roses FC team and women’s soccer in general.

ACDF Architecture is behind the concept’s design, with Syscomax architect Jean-François and team handling the execution phase. Working with an existing building comes with the usual challenging constraints; an efficient, innovative and functional approach will make the most of the existing infrastructure.

For Syscomax, the Montréal Roses mandate is much more than a construction project: It's a chance to support a team that embodies an authentic and emblematic movement for the development of women’s soccer at home. One that promises long-term benefits for the community and future generations of top-level female athletes.
