Foliot Furniture (Mirabel)
Resulting from a business relationship that is more than 20 years strong, Foliot Furniture mandated Syscomax to build a new production plant in Mirabel. The building of more than 170,000 sq. ft. along Highway 50 is ideally situated to allow Foliot Furniture to increase its visibility.
With the construction of this new building, Foliot Furniture decided to innovate and integrate a space dedicated to the production of its own melamine, which allows it to be one of the first manufacturing companies in North America to self-supply such material. Due to the relatively short lead times because of orders for the new equipment and the need to start production, Syscomax employees had to put extra effort into the design and coordination of the different trades in order for all components of the project to be completed at the same time.
