In 2020, property developer Valdev realized that it needed to expand its building footprint in order to meet demand at its Salaberry-de-Valleyfield industrial complex. Once again, it turned to trusted partner Syscomax, with whom it first worked in 2015, to undertake the construction of a new building.

This new facility, with a floor area of approximately 180,000 sq. ft., is composed primarily of architectural blocks, corrugated steel cladding, large windows and Norex-type insulated steel panels. There are also 14 loading dock doors and four 16' x 18' doors, providing direct access to the building’s interior.

Having completed about 10 mandates with this major driver of economic development in the Suroît region, Syscomax has once again upheld its excellent reputation by delivering this ambitious project in just six months, despite the added challenge of unforeseen events related to the pandemic.
